Dive Industry of British Columbia The DIABC are a non-profit organization that promotes scuba diving for the province of BC. Their website has listings of members, and dive info. PADI The largest dive training and certification agency in the world. PADI has done more to promote diving than anyone, they offer courses for all levels of diver and can be undertaken almost anywhere in the world, including here in BC. DAN Not only do Divers Alert Network offer what has become the standard for scuba diving insurance, but they also do extensive, world leading research into diving medicine, with a website of great resources. Sea Legacy An organization of visual story tellers inspiring the global community to conserve and protect our oceans. Lots of great BC content, including their efforts to protect the Great Bear Sea. Nanaimo Dive Outiftters Based in Nanaimo with a great dive store. They offer scuba and snorkel charters, technical and recreational dive training, and have a great knowledge of the local shore diving sites nearby. Discovery West Adventures Running charters out of the Sunshine Coast, Josh and Chelsea have a rich knowledge of BC waters, and a huge passion for diving. They offer whale watching, eco tours and scuba diving. They have a nice boat, and infectious attitude! Sea Dragon Charters Located in Horseshoe Bay, West Vancouver, it has the closest dive store to nearly all of the shore dive sites in Vancouver.
